Pat Tiller Volunteers to Assist Katrina Victims
Portland, OR: Hollander Consultants’ Treasury Manager, PatTiller flew to Louisiana today to help with Hurricane Katrinadisaster relief. He will be in Louisiana for a minimum of twoweeks.
A resident of Sandy, Oregon, Tiller has been a member of the Mt.Hood Ski Patrol for the past 27 years and is certified in MassCasualty Incident training. As a certified Emergency ResponseCoordinator, Tiller is experienced in setting up shelters andmedical areas for use in emergencies such as the devastationcaused by Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana, Mississippi andAlabama.
“I’m going to Louisiana because my help and my expertise areneeded. I want to make sure people are safe and I will betraining people on-site to provide the best possible care forthe evacuees and other victims of the hurricane. It would be acrime if I didn’t help in some way,” said Tiller.

We wholeheartedly support PatTiller’s trip to help people affected by the hurricane. He willbe in regular contact with us so we can have an ongoing updateas to the situation and what help is needed.”
In Tiller’s capacity with the Mt. Hood Ski Patrol, he hasapprenticed over 200 people in how to help others in emergencyand life-threatening situations. He is a first aid advancedinstructor and has been for over 10 years
He is the first of three staff supported by HollanderConsultants to leave for Louisiana. Emily McCuen, secretary tothe CEO and Erika Sullivan, Director of Human Resources forHollander Consultants will be leaving in the next week to assistrelief efforts.
